Over 300 organisations have called for a ‘Bengaluru Bandh’ on Tuesday to oppose the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu from dams in Karnataka as farmers’ protests continued in the state's Mandya district.
The activist groups haven’t specified any time frame for the bandh yet, while a few organisations are planning to call a Karnataka bandh over the issue.
