Vegan Tempeh BBQ “Ribs”! They are a little bit if work but if you are someone like me who doesn’t eat pork, but your married to someone who *loves* ribs, this is the perfect substitute!!
-Whisk your spices (paprika, chili powder, onion, garlic, black pepper - I measure with my heart…) with 1/2c of water, 1/4c of soy sauce (tamari if GF), 1/4 agave or maple syrup, and 1tsp of liquid smoke. Gently stir in 16oz of tempeh (cut into “ribs”)
-Add everything to a pan, cook on med/high heat for about 10-15 mins until all the sauce has been soaked up.
-Place all “ribs” on a parchment sheet, smother with your fave BBQ sauce, and then cook at 400’ for 20 mins!
-Serve with your favorite BBQ sides! Mine is vegan mashed potatoes and broccoli ❤️
