Update: [ Ссылка ] Just me over here guarding 2 Monarch caterpillars from getting decimated by wasps 😖 We had several, and they had polished off most of the milkweed in the front yard, so yesterday I went and bought more. Today I saw a yellow jacket wasp munching on the remains of one, and another was running away from the plants looking for a place to hide.
So I gathered all the milkweed I bought, and the 2 remaining caterpillars, and they will live next to me on the porch within wasp-swatting distance until they are ready to form their chrysalis.
UGH. So much drama.
