Hi friends, Liron here!
Today I want to share with you another episode of The Paint Show! Once again it’s been a while since the last one.
This time we’ll be looking at Mayan Blue Genuine, by Daniel Smith (Primatek Series).
*** TIME STAMPS ***
00:15 - Intro
03:08 - Mayan temple drawing and painting
11:22 - Mixing with primary colors
16:18 - Conclusion & outro
*** MAYAN BLUE GENUINE ***
This is a beautiful green-tinted indigo color. According to Daniel Smith the recipe is derived from the ancient Mayan methods of productions. The same color was apparently used in their murals and sculptures.
Overall I really like this as a paint. It hardened a bit too much on the palette, but that’s a common trait among the Primatek series, that’s made of natural rocks and materials.
