Part 1/2
If we're lucky, we have time to say goodbye before someone we love dies.
When the relationship with a parent has been difficult or abusive, saying goodbye at the end can be difficult. What's the right thing to say? How and when should I say it?
This simple ritual practice helps you have that conversation. A structure like this helps you find the strength to say what needs to be said, even though it's hard.
Watch Part 2, about the delivery of these words. It explains how to say them, if your parent isn't willing or able to hear them, or if you're not in contact but want closure anyway.
