An evening of improvised duos from composer/bassist Mike Rivard and composer/guitarist David Tronzo. In the spirit of Boiler House Jazz Series at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation, where musicians who have little to no experience playing with one another, these two virtuosos create and explore a wildly varied musical landscape together. One of the delights of this journey is Rivard's use of the Moroccan camel-skin-covered bass lute, known as the "sintir" or "guimbri"
