A pro-Palestine protester, later identified as Li Wangblad, interrupted Swedish parliament in late January to call for attention towards the situation in Gaza and to criticise the Swedish government’s foreign policy towards it.
In November last year at an event in Gothenburg, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson made a gaffe by saying that “Israel has the right to genocide”, before quickly correcting himself and saying that “Israel has the right to self-defence”.
