Joe nearly destroys his Conklin Crescent Filler Fountain Pen today by dunking it in boiling RIT Dye. The Dyemore Synthetic dye from RIT was supposed to be effective on many types of plastic, but the results were very strange. This unfortunate attempt to revitalize a fountain pen will probably be Joe's last attempt at dyeing pens.
