Full pixel readout without binning in Super 35mm* makes it possible to condense approximately 2.4 times** the amount of data required for 4K (the equivalent of the amount of data required for 6K) . This oversampling process results in high-resolution, high-detail 4K with minimal moiré and jaggies.
A refined Fast Hybrid AF system achieves faster, smoother, more stable autofocus during movie recording. This reduces the need for manual focus adjustments when the camera is used on a gimbal or one-operator shooting situations.
Sony's Multi Interface Shoe features a built-in digital audio interface that allows direct connection of the new digital ECM-B1M Shotgun Microphone for clear, low-noise audio recording.
