On November 14, 2012, a total solar eclipse begins in northern Australia and passes over the south Pacific Ocean. The only landfall of totality is within Australian territory, including the environs of Cairns, Queensland. This video shows the shadow of the Moon (purple) where the total solar eclipse can be seen. The yellow curve shows the shadow of the Moon where you can view the total solar eclipse. The sky will turn dark and you will see the Sun's corona.
This is a sample video from an Eclipse Atlas for iPads available from the iTunes store at [ Ссылка ] and is a production of eclipse-maps.com
