The post has been vacant since Nadhim Zahawi was sacked by Rishi Sunak after being found to have broken the ministerial code over his tax affairs.

Meanwhile, it's looking like current Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Secretary Grant Shapps will be made Energy Security Secretary, according to deputy political editor Sam Coates.

And Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch will likely be given the merged Business and Trade Secretary role.
