Yangon, Myanmar ➖ After exploring Myanmar's big city Yangon, it was time to go to the remote regions and see what the beaches are like in the country.
Myanmar's most well-known beach Ngapali, is experiencing extreme fighting from anti-regime forces and is completely off-limits for tourists. So, I decided to visit the next best beach town, Ngwe Saung.
It wasn't as simple as you think, though, as travelling across the country was extremely dangerous and difficult. Just one bus goes from Yangon to Ngwe Saung and departs at 5:30 am, just after the military curfew concludes.
The bus ticket was harder to get than I thought, you can check out that video on my second channel here.

But, after arriving at the centre of Yangon at 5am I was able to catch the bus to Ngwe Sung.
Given the situation of the country, there were only 2 hotels available to book online, neither of which I fancied. So, after exploring the town for a bit, I walked into a beachfront hotel and tried to secure a room.
I then explored the little town and met up with a famous Burmese man, known as Dan. I heard about Dan through my friend Small Brained Americans' channel. He showed me a bit of the beach town and introduced me to some of his favourite spots.
