No one could've predicted this to happen. But a day before this 800m heat, Edwin Giron did the 1,500m race which he was able to time 4:04. It was a decent time. Perhaps his calves wasn't really able to recover from the intensity which it carried a day before. But knowing Giron, he could've went through this heat with ease having a time of 1:52-1:53.
For me, he really deserves another chance in the next Sea Games 2025. What do you think?
