Schmitt trigger circuit inputs a wavering analog signal and outputs a distinct digital (solidly on or off) signal. I use a couple 2N2222 NPN Bipolar Junction Transistors wired as a Schmitt trigger controlled by a trimmer potentiometer trimpot based voltage divider on a prototype breadboard and a diagram I put together to demonstrate and explain the basics.
