This 3 minute video shows the last shipping container (of 8) being craned into position, to create a very unique new restaurant project for which D.V.S. supplied and installed the large barrel vault rooflight.
It is the new "pop-up" Wahaca restaurant which is situated on the outdoor terrace of the Queen Elizabeth Hall at the Southbank Centre (along side Waterloo Bridge) - a very exciting and vibrant area of London.
The rooflight is 1.7 metres wide x 24 metres long and incorporates 5No. opening flaps for natural ventilation - there are photographs of the finished project at the end of our video.
