Not quite a month ago I added a 2001 Kawasaki W650 to my small fleet of scooters and motorcycles. I knew almost immediately that it was the perfect motorcycle for me. But the proof is in the riding. So on a recent late day ride I examined my expectations of the motorcycle and whether it has lived up to them.
The Kawasaki W650 is a retro-styled standard motorcycle. It looks a lot like a late 1960s Triumph Bonneville. But much improved mechanically and electrically over that vintage machine.
