Nora Tidemann, a paleontologist, becomes entangled in a dangerous and fantastical adventure. Growing up hearing stories about Trolls from her father, she becomes fascinated by their existence. Years later, during a tunneling operation, a catastrophic event occurs, prompting the Norwegian government to investigate. Nora, alongside a team of scientists, discovers massive footprints and realizes that the legendary Trolls might be responsible.
As they delve deeper into the mountains, they inadvertently awaken a 150-foot Troll, and chaos ensues. Determined to find a solution, Nora uncovers ancient secrets and learns that trolls can be defeated with direct sunlight.
