Today's reading is from Luke 1, Mary's song. Delphine Fanfon (Cameroon/US), member of our board of directors (2020-22), reads the passage. May we, like Mary, choose to rejoice in our Lord.
Delphine is a co-host for the YLGen Mentoring Podcast. Listen/watch her interview Sarah Breuel, another board member and director of Revive Europe: [ Ссылка ]

Rejoice in the Lord
Perhaps you have read Paul's plea to the church of Phillippi to "Rejoice in the Lord always" (Phil 4:4) and wondered - how do I do that? What does it look like for me to rejoice in God?
Mary's response to God in Luke 1:46-55 offers us a beautiful example of a soul rejoicing in God. We think of rejoicing being an act of those who are joyful. Yet, Mary's Magnificat is a perfect example of a worshipper praising God despite her circumstances. Mary was young, engaged to Joseph, but now suddenly bearing a child conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Who would believe her?
How would Joseph respond?
How would her family and community respond?
Mary chose to worship despite her dire circumstances, many questions and uncertainty.
Mary chose God and the joy that comes with trusting in him.
How might God be inviting you to experience the joy that you can find in him alone?
