Wandle Park, came alive in a festival of bright colours, joyous music and delicious cuisine on Sunday 14th July celebrating the best of Indian Asian culture at the Croydon Mela 2019.
In its third year hosted at the South London park, the main stage featured performances by internationally renowned musical acts including DJ Ritu, folk singer Najma Akhtar, and Apache Indian.
Councillor Hamida Ali discussed the launch of the anti-hate crime pledge.
Surrey Police attended and explained why it is important for people from all backgrounds to join the police, and also that it can be rewarding.
