This week I'm playing the Dimarzio Cruiser pickup in the neck position of my late 90's Fender Stratocaster. This is actually the Dimarzio Cruiser DP187, which is the bridge version of the pickup, the same way Andy Timmons uses this pickup to get those magical tones of his. I'm using the Dimarzio Cruiser with 500K Volume & Tone pots to get a nice, bright sound. Later in the video, I compare the Dimarzio Cruiser to a Fender Custom Shop Texas Special neck pickup, which is a true sing coil. Which do you prefer?!
