Steamed Ube Macapuno Condensed Milk Cake for breakfast or merienda partnered with coffee or tea. It can be made easily at home as it includes simple and complete instructions for beginners. Ube Macapuno Condensed Milk Cake
Wet Ingredients:
• 3 Large eggs
• 1 cup or 250g Ube Macapuno Condensed Milk (use the whole can 380ml if you want it sweeter, if not, use only 1 cup or 250g. You may also use just plain condensed milk and just add another tsp of ube flavoring)
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil or canola or corn oil
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp ube flavoring
Dry Ingredients:
• 1 cup cake flour (if you don't have cake flour, measure 1 cup all purpose flour then remove 2 tbsp of the apf and replace with 2 tbsp of cornstarch to make 1 cup of cake flour)
• 1 tsp iodized salt
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 2 tbsp ube powder (optional)
Optional:
Ube Buttercream Icing and macapuno

*Do not oil the baking pan. Use parchment paper only at the bottom
*Steam for 40 mins to 1 hour or until the stick test comes out clean or you may bake it for 180⁰C for 30 to 45 minutes or until done.
*You may use also lanera of leche flans as baking pans. Just divide the batter evenly.
*Double the measurements if you want to make more.
Baking essentials you need:
9 inches round cake pan or any baking pans that will fit your steamer like leche flan molder
