The Porto of Finisterra has been used from Roman times to the modern day. It's location near the Fisterra Lighthouse, the end of the French Caminho do Santiago do Compestelo.

In the film Night Train to Lisbon (2013), Amadeu and Estafania spend the night and the morning in the car at Cape Finisterre.
Then, Amadeu is shown sitting on the cliff writing his memoirs on which the film centers.
