On the way to Pelling from Darjeeling, we had to spend night in Jorethang. We never thought Jorethang would be this beautiful. The entire town is situated at the bank of Ranjeet river which is tributary of Teesta River. This town is in Namchi District of South Sikkim and plays an important role for the people of south Sikkim in terms of supplying food and services. You must stay here for a day when you are going from Darjeeling to Pelling.
