Nina Schor, MD, PhD, FAAN, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Bethesda, MD explains the many difficulties during the pandemic which affected neurology research. The main impact of the pandemic was a reduction in the workforce due to members of staff contracting COVID-19 or being exposed to someone else who had tested positive.
