A rough crossing during a Force 9 storm from Cairnryan (Scotland) to Belfast (Northern Ireland) on 14th February 2021. On board the Stena Line - STENA SUPERFAST VIII. Easily 30-40ft waves on this journey.
You can see the returning Stena Line Ferry if you skip to 05:48 . We were probably situated right in the middle of the Irish Sea at this point.
Considering what the Sea Cat ferry used to be like this boat managed to sail through no problems. No sea sickness was had this day!
A few window splashes, but the wind was the major factor in this crossing.
