A quick walk around and some closeups of the large "Black Box" memorial created for the victims of the Pulse NightClub shooting in Orlando FL.
Built by local artist Lonnie Hanzon, this started as a mostly blank black (plywood)canvas, the idea being for people to sign it/leave messages & fill it with color.
This is 8-feet square and 10 feet tall, and was Located in the center of Civic Center Park...this vid doesn't really do it justice, seeing it in person was much better. By the 2nd day people's messages had started overflowing onto the surrounding walkway.
(and yeah, sorry for the shaky camera-work on the video portions, its tough to try walking, holding a camera & keeping an eye on all the people around so you don't run into anyone .lol. )
Feel free to skip around to sections of the video...
