Say hello to my brand new Fanatec CSL DD! Wow, this is a massive upgrade. The only sim racing wheels I’ve EVER used have been Logitech, so to suddenly make the jump to a direct drive wheelbase is huge.

Join me as I fumble with bolts and unbox/set up Fanatec’s revolutionary new direct drive CSL DD on my sim rig (and then go for a drive in various sim racing titles such as RaceRoom, iRacing and Assetto Corsa) to give you my very first impressions and initial review of what it’s like to upgrade from a Logitech G29 to a Fanatec CSL DD.
