Hello Again. Welcome to see with me a new city This is Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia “Killa”
The skyline here is surrounded by the largest river in Colombia: Magdalena River, and Atlantic Ocean
This is the Great Pier, located near the end of Magdalena river, a place recently renewed.
Here we can see the entire skyline along with the three tallest skyscrapers, one more near completion
Here you can see the crown of the jewel: The great new Pumarejo bridge, a huge megastructure
Here is The Window to the World a new monument inaugurated in late 2008. It’s 48 meters tall.
The night view of the same monument enhances the colors and roads around.
This is Salgar Castle, located near the end of cliffs surrounding the ocean, resembling Santa Monica.
Salgar was a municipally, now part of the big city, Santa Monica is located in California, USA.
Puerto Colombia pier was inaugurated in 1888.It was the most important sea terminal for 40 years
Then Bocas de Ceniza pier was buit, leaving Puerto Colombia behind.
In March 2009, the pier collapsed 200 meters.
This is Mirador Lagos del Cisne Park.
At the other side of Swan Lake, it’s located the most exclusive neighborhood of Barranquilla:
Caujaral neighborhood, with golf court, lake and private club, all under the same name.
Now, from Las Flores Neighborhood, where you can taste fresh seafood…
We are flying over Bocas de Ceniza pier, a more than 9 kilometers journey…
Near the end of the trailer, we cannot forget Prado Hotel, built 90 years ago, it’s now a National patrimony.
