Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 6th India Mobile Congress at Pragati Maidan and launched 5G services in 13 cities on October 1 in Delhi. The Prime Minister in his speech stated that on behalf of the country's telecom industry, 130 crore Indians are getting a wonderful gift in the form of 5G. He further said that new India will not remain a mere consumer of technology but will play a major role in its development and implementation
