How to Trim a Brisket
This is one of the most important steps in smoking a beef brisket.
I leave quite a bit of fat on it during the trimming process.
This is what keeps the brisket moist during the cooking process.
I leave roughly 1/4” of fat almond the bottom of the beef brisket when I trim the brisket.
Beef brisket is fairly simple to trim. Just clean it up and square it off.
Trimming a brisket is fun and doing it yourself is satisfying.
