What makes this catch so exciting to me was I’d borrowed a small spinning rod off a friend (liam fisher) and he wanted it back!!Every session I had I tried to out do the last.

On this light tackle rod I’d had bass to 5lb small plaice, flounder and now this beast of a conger eel.

I know conger eels get much bigger than the one I caught here at mostyn. But it felt like a real monster fish on this light tackle rod. #congereel #seafishing #fishingnorthwales
