Unable to prevent the birth of their 22-week-old baby, the doctors proceeded with a C-section. Knowing that a baby born before 24 weeks was unlikely to survive, the father calmly accepted the situation and asked the doctors to ensure the baby wouldn’t suffer. After birth, the doctors gently took the baby away, leaving the grieving couple alone in the room.
