Yo guys, the day has finally come. I have visited the world famous Petra - one of the seven world wonders. Even though I started my day pretty early and arrived at about 7:30am it was already packed with people. Right after the entrance a group of Bedouins immediately approach you like parasites and they want to sell horse, donkey or camel rides to either the Treasury or the Monastery. All of them are lying and saying that the ride is included in the ticket price but it is not. Once you agree and take the ride, they ask for an high amount once you arrive. For me personally, this sounds like a scam. The walk to the Treasury is a pretty chilled walk and it takes approximately 30 min. So you can easily do it by yourself. Once arrived at the Treasury, there are two photo spots from above. Both of them are accessible via a little hike. One takes approximately 5 min & the other one approximately 15 min. Also, here you do not need a guide. They are trying to rip the people of by offering a "guided hike" for both spots for sometimes 30 JD (totally outrageous) like in my case. They also say it is mandatory but it is not. Anyway I was in a pretty tricky situation but just watch the video and you will see...Enjoy!
