Move a hay bale with your truck. I don’t have a hay fork or tractor to move the round hay bale, but I make it happen. I use a steel San Angelo Bar spike and towing straps. I push or hammer the spike thru the center of the bale, leaving roughly 6” on each side and wrap hook the straps to the bar. I connect the center of the strap to my trailer hitch, and gently pull forward until the strap is taut and pulls the bale by rolling it. I ended up shortening the strap about 4’ and it pulls smoother. It rolls easily to where I need it to go.
