Etude Op. 46 No. 12 by Stephen Heller.
STEPHEN HELLER (1813-1888) was a prolific composer of piano music in the Romantic Era. His compositions are largely forgotten today, which is unfortunate, as they are melodically inventive, varied, expressive. and a joy to play. Heller spent much of his long and productive life teaching piano, and many of his enduring pieces are the ones he composed for his students, such as these thirty progressive etudes of Opus 46.
