Telde is the most populous municipality on the island, with more than 100,000 inhabitants, and the second largest city in Gran Canaria. This large city, which is also the oldest on the island, is only 15km from the capital, Las Palmas. It is the only one, to our knowledge, to have a colonial-style historic center, really separate from the rest of the city.
