Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is a device used to control the speed and torque of an AC motor by adjusting the frequency and voltage of the power supplied to the motor. Forward and reverse motor control with a VFD involves using the VFD to change the direction of rotation of the motor.
Forward Motor Control:
Power Supply:
Connect the three-phase (R,Y,B)power supply to the input terminals of the VFD.
Motor Connection:
Connect the three-phase motor to the output terminals (U,V,W)of the VFD.
Control Wiring: Used ON/OFF/ON selector switch for VFD controlling.
Forward Run: use selector NO terminal between VFD SC terminal and S1 terminal for forward.
Reverse Run: use selector NO terminal between VFD SC terminal and S2 terminal for Reverse .
