Moderated by OAFP President-Elect Mike Sevilla, MD, this week’s session will feature Kelly Thibert, DO, MPH, American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Resident Member of the Board of Directors and newly graduated resident from Grant Family Medicine Residency in Columbus, OH.
During the session, Dr. Thibert will describe her journey in medicine thus far, discuss what her leadership roles have taught her, and what she hopes to pass on to future medical students and residents. As a member of the AAFP Board of Directors, Dr. Thibert also will talk about changes to the AAFP National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students and what the new virtual format will include.
