A simple modification with good gains. Swapping the stock intercooler for a bigger and thicker intercooler lowers your IAT and gives headroom for a smaller supercharger pulley and/or bigger crank pulley (like the oversized ATI Super Damper 2%).
The intercooler is very cheap, but is well worth the money. Fitment is 99% as you will see.
I fitted this to my 2006 Mini Cooper S R53 John Cooper Works (JCW) edition, with 211BHP stock from factory.
