The Kenya Leather Industrial Park in Kenanie, Machakos County, which is nearing completion, is set to be officially commissioned in March this year. Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki while inspecting the ongoing works at the plant, said electricity and water connections, as well as deployment of permanent policing services, are being expedited to meet the deadline.
