This boss has a fast enrage - about 3-3min30 after the start of phase 2. So I needed 8.3 gear to kill him.

Since this is a dps race, I went full dps gear, with the exception of the mechagon parachute trinket ([ Ссылка ]). Make sure you have a macro to spam dispel on the parachute during the phase 2 transition.
Survival isn't an issue - simply cast mend pet if you are taking damage and leech (ferocity) + double pet will heal you up.

The only hard part is the transition. You want to bring the avatar to the edge, find a safe spot where you can dps, and then it's just about dpsing the boss while making sure your platform isn't destroyed.
