Liberal MP Zoe McKenzie claims more Australians would “rather” a Coalition government than have Anthony Albanese remain the Prime Minister after the later Newspoll had the Coalition leading Labor in primary votes 40 to 33 per cent.
“It is obvious from the polling that was released this morning that more people in Australia would rather have a Coalition government than they would have Anthony Albanese remain as Prime Minister,” Ms McKenzie told Sky News Australia.
“There was a primary of 40 for the Coalition and 33 for Labor. That is quite a gulf."
