You can also call this the radius rod. The reason it's good to replace your control arm and ball joint is because it has a rubber bushing inside of it that can wear out over time causing your car's suspension to feel sloppy. With a few simple tools you'll be able to swap out your control arms and ball joints like a pro and your car will feel brand new again!
