STORYLINE:
One person was killed and seven others wounded when an apartment block in the southern Lebanese town of Nabatiyeh was struck by Israeli rockets on Sunday.
The air raid occurred at around 0730 GMT and residents and eyewitnesses said the person killed was a Hezbollah militant but this had not been confirmed by any officials.
The injured were taken to Nabatiyeh Government Hospital to receive treatment.
AP Television News footage showed a small boy with shrapnel wounds on his face as well as others injured from the air raid.
The roof and facade of the building collapsed.
Local residents helped clear the rubble from the area.
