Paris, circa 1857 or after, featuring a reeded rim, scrolled double handles, and topped with a swan finial, 950 Minerva stamp on both pieces and maker's mark to lid, without a monogram.

The mark of Emile Puiforcat was used by the grandson, Jean Puiforcat, until 1945. Good estate condition, some scratches to underside.
