How to be original Part 1:
[ Ссылка ]
Like what I said... Here's the dialogue... Plus a little bit more.
The world is populated by over 7 billion people each one with their own creative thoughts and individuality. Now the chances of you being 100% original out of that number are 100% impossible. Because that’s just 7 billion people who are living, what about those who are dead, those who have already thought the same things you’ve thought? What about all the history, the textbooks, architecture, art, science, life, everything that happened before you?
Sorry to break it to you… Your thoughts are not new…. But who gives a S!@#$
Let’s just stop right here and change the definition of originality. Instead of being 100% different, it’s 100% assembled genius. It’s sourcing what’s already existing and re-aligning it to make things better.
If you want to get from point a to b you make a path. If the path is too small make it a road. If the road is too slow you pour concrete on the damn road to pave a better path.
Who cares if you’re not new. You are you. You are genuine. Different.. flawed. And that is beautiful.
If you want to be Original embrace your errors. Learn from them. It’s the fuel that ignites the fire of individuality.
You’re always going to be influenced. No matter what. IT can be coffee cups, landscapes, construction sites, mom dad, that guy on the internet, your dog, your cat, beautiful sunsets or some girl in an office. The key is to not copy them. It’s to Steal from them. Take only what you like, and leave the rest. I call it: shredding the fat.
My recipe for successful originality is this. , if you’re stealing more than 80% you’re copying. If you’re stealing less than 80% it’s yours to keep. Contribute at least 30% of your own creative ideas, and way to go, you’re efficiently stealing.
This… Is… Life… And it’s your greatest textbook for originality. Learn from it. Experience then reflect. Reflect then express. Express then repeat the pattern over and over again.
You will stagger, you will fail but that’s the best part. Redefine failure with learning and you’ll always stay sharp.
