I love wood props and have used them for years on electric motors. Try it and see! Never a problem and they fly and sound great. They also are strong and don't flex. Plastic may be cheaper and a few grams lighter, but the wood props I use seem to work better on my electric motors, plus they come in all sizes. For my home made Aeromaster TOO, I am using a Zinger 10 x 6. The Motor is a 1400 kv Garrt running on an 1800 mAh, 11.1 LiPo Battery.
The Sling Thing transmitter balancer is useful because I like to fly with my Transmitter nose down or nose heavy. It is less susceptible to bumping and is more comfortable to me. The grooves from the bolt keep the clasp from sliding, so it is easily adjustable and I can slide it where I want to and it stays.
Thanks for watching and God Bless.
