"The First 90 Days I found were quite critical. In particular, I was joining a company that's been in existence for a number of years, a very successful company, well run company. And there was a core team that had been there. And for the First 90 Days, I'll break it down, into buckets. The first 30 days were meant for me to just to listen, absorb as much as possible. And that's one of the things I learned through coaching: the importance of listening at the beginning of the new job, to my peers, my team, my boss. So that by the end of the 90 days, I would've better understood the culture, the norms, and how people operate in the company. But also understood what drives people, and give them an opportunity to learn a little bit more about myself. So the first 30 to 90 days were all around getting to know the people, understanding how things work and really setting myself up for successful continuation. After that for many years to come, coaching has allowed me to further develop relationships with my bankers and investing advisors. In fact, by becoming partners with them and thinking through the importance of partnering with external advisors, allowed me to ask them the questions and see how they can help us continue down our journey of growth, thinking through what we want to be doing in terms of next chapters of the company's life. And we are at that critical stage where we are looking in into doing that. And so it's allowed me to get closer to those advisors."
