First Elvinley Railways video of 2025!
My O Gauge which was built in lockdown from junk. All locos and most stock running in the vid is by Dapol. After being asked, I measured the layout: It is 8' by 1' with a 1 and a half foot two road traverser.

Scratch-built items include:

Station: card, packaging clear plastic, paint
Signal Box: card, packaging clear plastic, large match sticks, paint, small posters and signs, paint brush ends for buckets, coffee stirrers, paint
Water tower: Card, paint, plastic girders
Signals: clear plastic, matches, plastic offcuts, guitar strings, various bits and pieces from old models and paint.
Benches: coffee stirrers and guitar strings
Lamp: Plastic from packaging, old On30 model whistle, plastic sprue, paint, etc.
Water crane: sprue, paper, foil top from muller rice carton for hose
Engine shed: fine corrugated card, mounting card, clear plastic, matchsticks, stirrers, paint
Shed: Card, paint
Coal stage: coffee stirrers and coal and paint
Trees: natural dead stems, twigs and moss plus foliage and flock from Woodland Scenics.

Plus lots of other small items and signs and fencing. Signs were free items from magazines and whatever I had lying around. I purchased 3d figures and painted them and purchased a post box, lamps, more signs, small 3d items and milk churns at a later date.
