The Clemson Tigers defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels, 39-10, to win the 2022 ACC Football Championship. Cade Klubnik relieved DJ Uiagalelei at quarterback for Clemson and completed 20 of 24 passes for 279 yards and a touchdown. Klubnik also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown in the win. The Tigers’ defense picked off North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye twice, including a 98-yard pick six by Nate Wiggins. Maye threw for 268 yards, including 100 yards to wide receiver Josh Downs.
